Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Google OAuth application named Claude Code MCP.

Who operates it

An individual, for personal use. Contact: mcp@gardenplace.cc

What data is accessed

With the operator's explicit consent, the application requests access to that operator's own Gmail messages, labels, drafts and settings; Google Drive files; Google Calendar events; and Google Tasks lists. It also reads the basic profile and email address of the signed-in account, solely to confirm which account is connected.

Why

So the operator can work with their own data from their own Claude Code sessions. There is no other purpose.

Where the data goes

Nowhere but the operator's own computer. The application has no server, no database and no hosted component. OAuth tokens are written to a file on that computer. Message bodies, file contents and calendar entries are fetched on demand, passed into the local session, and not copied into any store belonging to the application.

Nothing is sold, rented, published or shared with third parties. There is no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no profiling. No human other than the operator sees the data through this application.

Limited Use

Claude Code MCP's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Access lasts only as long as the OAuth grant. The operator can revoke it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the local token file also ends all access immediately. Because the application keeps no copies, revoking access leaves nothing behind to delete. Tokens are rotated on a fixed schedule and revoked automatically if a rotation is missed.

If this policy changes, the date at the foot of this page changes with it.
